Spencer Pratt: Marriage to Heidi Montag Was “a Show”

Spencer Pratt has responded to Heidi Montag’s decision just a few hours after she officially filed for divorce Friday in Santa Monica, Calif. Superior Court.

"I love Heidi but our marriage was a show – it was part of The Hills world, And that world is on a sound stage." Pratt, 26, told People Friday.

When asked about the reason for the split, the reality star said: “It’s clear that reality TV-fame-loving Spencer Pratt does not fit with my ex-wife Heidi Montag’s ambitions for a motion picture actor/pop star career and being a single sex symbol for the world.”

"Some say if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen, Well, Heidi couldn't handle King Spencer's fame so she got out of the marriage." Pratt added.

The Hills stars began dating in 2006. They wed in November 2008 and again in April 2009. Montag, 23, filed for legal separation from Pratt two months ago, citing irreconcilable differences in her petition.

Heidi Montag has officially filed for divorce from her husband and former co-star on The Hills, Spencer Pratt.

Heidi Montag, 23, and Spencer Pratt, 26, began dating in 2006. They got married in Mexico in November 2008 and again in California on April 2009. The two called it quits in May and legally separated the following month.

Montag has now officially filed for divorce Friday in Santa Monica, Calif., Superior Court, citing the usual irreconcilable differences in the petition.

“Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt,” her lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, tells People magazine.

"The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce."

Jennifer Lopez, the 41-year-old singer/actress, has reportedly signed on to become a permanent judge on American Idol’s season 10.

“It’s true. She’s excited about it.” an industry source was quoted by People as saying.

The news comes the same day after Ellen DeGeneres announced she is leaving from her position as Idol’s judge for the show’s ninth season. “It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for," the talk show host said on Thursday.

Additionally, Kara DioGuardi has reportedly been fired, and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has been offered a spot to replace Simon Cowell on the judging panel as well, according to TMZ.

Zac Efron Confirms Visiting Strip Club

Zac Efron has admitted that he visited a strip club this past weekend, 12 hours before the premiere of his new film, Charlie St. Cloud in New York City.

The 22-year-old actor confirmed that he went to Flash Dancers Gentlemen's Club in New York on Sunday night with High School Musical co-star Corbin Bleu during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live show Wednesday.

“I had this image of what it'd be like. I've heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music - they're supposed to be pretty reputable! So I envisioned myself in a nice couch with stunner shades with T-Pain and Usher making it rain money! And it just wasn't like that.” Zac laughed.

But he also added that he asked girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens for permission before going to the club and “She was fine with it!”.

The New York Post first reported that Zac and Corbin visited the club and spent more than $2,000 on lap dancers and vodka, but the actor joked that he didn't spend $2,000 as reported, but rather $6,000.

Zac Efron and his friends reportedly spent more than $2,000 on lap dancers and vodka at a New York strip club just hours before the premiere of his new film, Charlie St. Cloud in New York City, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

The 22-year-old actor was joined by his High School Musical co-star Corbin Bleu and another male friend visiting Flashdancers Gentlemen's Club on Sunday night, and stayed there until 3am, a witness told NYPost.

Zac came in Sunday night around midnight with Corbin and one other male friend, who paid for everything. They were seated in the VIP lounge behind the main stage. There was only a rail between them and the girls who were dancing

They ordered one bottle of Belvedere vodka and were enthralled with the dancers. They were interacting a lot with the girls and reaching out and showering money on them. There were three girls who Zac and his friends particularly liked and they asked to do personal dances at their table.

The girls were all slim pretty brunettes, a bit like Zac's girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens. They were two Americans, called Shannon and Brandi, and a gorgeous Brazilian called Raquel. Zac and the boys had a great time and left around 3 a.m. Monday morning.

About 12 hours later, Zac Efron walked the red carpet for the Cloud New York premiere arm-in-arm with his girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens.

Pink Falls on German Stage: Pink Hospitalized After Stunt Harness Accident in Germany (Video)

Pink was rushed to hospital after harness accident during her show in Nuremberg, Germany on Thursday night.

The 30-year-old singer fell onto a metal barricade after a harness which lifts her into the air for her stage stunts malfunctioned during a performance of the final song of her concert, So What. She was then taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

The star, born Alecia Moore, apologized to fans for cutting short the show via Twitter, saying “To all my nurnberg fans- I am so so so sorry to end the show that way. I am embarrassed and very sorry. I'm in ambulance now but I will fine.”

Later, Pink explained how the accident had happened, tweeting: “didn't get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade".

On Friday, the singer confirmed that she was released from the hospital after a medical examination showed "nothings broken” and “no fluid in the lungs” and she was “just seriously sore”.

Schwebebahn, which translates to floating railway but in English it is generally called the hanging railway or the suspension railway. The official German name is Einschienige Hangebahn System Eugen Langen.


Wupppertal is located in the hills of “Bergisches Land”. It’s easy to reach, both by car and by train, from Cologne, Düsseldorf and the Ruhr-region. It is roughly a thirty minute train ride from all three places. The Hanging Railway stops at the main railway station, Hauptbahnhof in German.


There’s something that makes Wuppertal unique in this world: It has a suspension railway!
The “Wuppertaler Schwebebahn” has been connecting the different centers of Wuppertal for more than 100 years now. If you ever get the chance to go on a suspension train here take it. It’s fun and very extra ordinary.


All in all, the Hanging Railway is more of a unique experience rather than an exciting railway journey. Well worth trying if you are in the neighborhood. Although Wuppertal has some other attractions, most tourists go to Wuppertal just for the Schwebebahn.

#1 - Passion - Passion is what drives you, and will shine through all your communications with people. Passion keeps you keeping on when all others have given up. You don't just like selling African crafts. You have a fire-in-the-belly passion. You love these pieces of Art, whether it's a hand-stitched garment or a hand-made drum, so much that your love translates into every sale.

If you don't have passion for what you sell or the business, don't start selling. Without passion you will give up on your home business and craft too soon. You may even learn to hate this job and be unhappy. And THAT will show in your work.

#2 - Quality - If you want your home business in it for the long haul, reputation is so important. A hand-made item from Africa will command better prices than any machine-made products made in a factory using cheap materials. Nothing beats QUALITY.

#3 - Uniqueness - You are a unique individual and what or how you sell should have a little touch of your personality. Tell your customers why you like a particular item, or customize it in your own way.

This is much easier with the personal care products; you can easily add your favorite fragrance to a lotion, soap, or incense, and then call it your own! You can wear your favorite African garments and when people ask you about them when you're out and about (and people WILL ask) you can always tell them about your home business. People can't find hand-made African products elsewhere, so you may be their only way to enjoy these great African products.

Sometimes we feel as though we don’t have enough time to get all dressed up and made up when we have so much to do. But try these steps to looking fab in just a few minutes.

The art of perfecting a natural, no-makeup look is quite simple actually and doesn’t require a lot of work. Not only is it chic and professional but it’s a breath of fresh air from the usual done-up look.

As much as I worship color makeup, I have been more into that Au natural look lately. Below are some tips on how you can wear makeup to enhance your features while keeping it subtle.

Prep

Before layering on your foundation, make sure your face is thoroughly cleansed and moisturized. Look for a moisturizer with an SPF to minimize premature wrinkles and sun damage.

Prime

Once your moisturizer has settled in, continue with a foundation primer. This is one of the most important steps in faking a flawless face because not only does it prep the face for foundation but also minimizes the look of pores and gives everything a soft, smooth canvas.

Foundation

For a flawless finish, avoid heavy foundations and instead go for a light, sheer foundation. This will ensure enough coverage but also give you a flawless, natural finish.

Concealer

If you’re suffering from pimples or other pesky little complexion problems, don’t forget to use a concealer. Concealers do what their name say: conceal things! So dab a tiny little amount of concealer onto problem areas such as pimples or redness and pat in. To blend things in and make sure your makeup stays put, dust a translucent powder over your entire face.

Don’t Forget the Brows

Orlando Bloom Receives Honorary Degree From the University of Kent

Orlando Bloom, 33, the Pirates of the Caribbean star, received an honorary degree from the University of Kent on Tuesday.

Orlando Bloom was awarded among over 340 graduates at Canterbury Cathedral in his home town. His model girlfriend Miranda Kerr, parents and sister all joined him for the ceremony.

“It's a really big deal. It's an exciting day for me. I'm really honored to be back in my home town. I have so many amazing memories of the cathedral and Canterbury. I have lived near the university so it's like my playground. It's a huge, huge honor and I feel chuffed, as does my mother - nobody more than my mother,” Orlando said proudly.

This was the first graduation ceremony for Orlando. The actor missed out his graduation at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama because of filming Lord of the Rings.

Celine Dion Expecting Twin Boys!

Celine Dion and her husband/manager Rene Angeli are expecting twin boys!

Earlier this year, the 42-year-old Grammy winner announced the happy news that she was expecting twins after her sixth attempt at in vitro fertilization and accupuncture treatments.

And now the superstar singer revealed that she and hubby Angelil, 68, who are parents to 9-year-old son René-Charles, will have two more boys.

A statement posted on her official website Friday reads: "Celine first announced the upcoming new additions to the Angélil-Dion family back in May, and now she just revealed that she is expecting twin boys! Congratulations to the happy family!"
